| "The Ark", I saw this movie on TV last night by accident. Well, I was switching through channels and there it was. I immidiately was drawn to the movie because the animation. the visual itself was impressive, somewhat reminded me the CGI from some games. and the more I watched it, the more I liked it. Well, heres why: Honestly, as a fan of "Final Fantasy"...I hate to say this. But this movie Ark did much better job as a fantasy RPG movie than "FF:the spirits within". It has all the elements from every FF series- fate, global disater, power, mistery, greed, friendship, destiny, and love (well, ok, so theres no chocobo and sommoners^^.) Anyway, as a movie, the story is weak, not very original. You can see copied ideas everywhere in it. However, as a fantasy RPG animation, it did a good job. It reminds us all the great RPG games we used to play and the games we will want to play in the future (at this point, FFXII so to speak.) So, if you are a true fan to Sci-fi Fantasy, or just a fan to RPG games, don miss out on this movie.
